The Council is covered by the Freedom of Information Act 2000, which gives rights to access certain information held by the Council. The FOI Publication Scheme provides details of the information available and how it can be obtained.

Council Tax Precept

Healeyfield Parish Council agreed at their meeting held on 26th November 2015 to increase the precept by 80 pence per year for 2016/17. This will help balance out the decrease in grant funding from Durham County Council. This decision was reviewed on 30th November 2017 and there was no change to the four year plan agreed in the 2015 meeting.
